Choices in Yr 9
Year 9 is a really important time as the options you choose for your GCSE will determine how you spend the next 2 years at school and could determine your career. Sometimes it is difficult to chose, sometimes you want to do what your friends are doing, but you need to think long and hard about what is best for you.
There are two really useful publications that you may have seen at school but they are also available online:
'Which Way Now': www.connexions-direct.com/whichwaynow
'Its Your Choice': www.connexions.com/itsyourchoice
You can visit both of these sites for helpful information on making those important decisions. And you can talk to your parents/guardians, brothers or sisters, and your teachers or careers guidance tutors. You can speak to a connexions adviser too.
