What do local businesses say about LEAD?

What do local businesses say about LEAD?

Gary Collinson, Managing Director - Botanical Group Services, Blackburn

"Botanical is solid and successful business which has grown steadily year on year since establishment, but like any business we have issues and hurdles. When I first looked at the LEAD programme I wasn't entirely sure it could do anything for us. However, 3 months into the course, the learning has genuinely been inspirational, I'm now looking at leading the business rather than managing it day to day, there is a significant difference.  I was initially concerned about the time commitment and being away from the business, but the course is very well structured. Quite honestly, I now find myself fitting work around the programme where I can, I don't want to miss anything. I'm already implementing strategies into the business which have been inspired by the course with some very positive results. I believe what I take from this course, will take Botanical to the next level."

Botanical Group Services is a service provider including; commercial landscape maintenance, winter gritting, interior planting and Christmas decoration. Botanical was established in 1993 and is operating locally and nationwide across the public and private sectors.

What other businesses say:

“Since joining LEAD in January, I have discovered that there is a lot to be learnt about the subject of 'leadership’.  I can say that it's definitely a step in the right direction towards improving the overall performance of my business."

Zak Akoo, Commercial Director,  Search Engine Partnership

“LEAD is motivating, inspiring and is really making me think personally about my business and how it is operating. I am now beginning to communicate my vision, the business purpose and our core values of why we do what we do to my team.”

Michelle Mellor, Director, Cummins Mellor Recruitment

“I joined LEAD in January and the benefits are already truly apparent – both personally and commercially.  It was suggested that LEAD would help us to drive our businesses from the front, and
to date, it has proved that it will do this and much more.”

Leon Calverley, Business Development Director, Door 4
