Bhups Gohil is CXL’s Partnership Director (Corporate Development). A qualified accountant, Bhups ensures CXL’s central services run cost effectively and efficiently, to ensure the customer gets the best value for money. With a background in the Connexions Service, as well as accountancy in the careers service and housing associations, Bhups also oversees the Contracts Team, which has expertise in bidding, securing and managing high level contracts for the company and for partners.

Liz Larner joined CXL as Partnership Director (Commercial Development) from Bauer Radio (formerly Emap Radio) where she was Regional Marketing Director for stations across the North West including Radio City, Rock FM and Key 103. She also led on local, regional and national campaigns for Bauer including the recent Big City network’s £1m campaign for the Sound of Money promotion. Liz joined Emap five years ago having previously spent 10 years at ad agencies and ITV in London. She recently appeared in How Do’s Top 100 marketers.

Vicki Ramsden joined CXL in April 2008 in the newly-created role of Partnership Director (Service Delivery). She previously worked for WorkDirections UK having worked as Provision and Partnership Manager to support long term unemployed clients on the New Deal and Pathways to Work programmes.  Vicki oversees the Transition Support and Adult Services teams as well as the Learning Agreement Pilot and the exciting new role of Children and Young People’s Champion, which we are hosting on behalf of the Lancashire Children and Young People’s Strategic Partnership.

Managing Director Karen O’Donoghue was formerly Chief Executive of Connexions Lancashire Ltd, focusing on working with and for young people. With Board level experience in the voluntary, housing and training sectors Karen’s professional background is as a careers adviser and she is committed to the development of CXL as a social business and the contribution the sector makes to the delivery of public services.Karen was a finalist in the Lancashire Business Woman of the Year Awards 2007, sponsored by Business Link, and won a Highly Commended in the 2008 "Woman in Business" East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce Awards.

John Jordan moved to the North West from London, where he held senior management posts in Tower Hamlets Careers Service. John was formerly Connexions Lancashire's Operations Director for the Blackburn with Darwen area, and he was also seconded to help develop the Borough’s approach to strategic commissioning for Children’s Services. He is now CXL's Partnership Director for the area, overseeing the delivery of the Connexions Service; the development of Integrated Youth Support Services and co-ordinating our extensive range of activities and partnerships in the area.
